ABOUT

NOAA - Maui Monk Seal Response Team is made up of NOAA employees, contractors, and a trained team of volunteers who are dedicated to educating the public about responsible Hawaiian monk seal viewing and conservation practices.  Maui Response team members respond to sightings of monk seals who haul out on shorelines throughout Maui Nui.

Maui Nui Marine Mammal Response Coordinator

Nicole Davis has served at the Marine Mammal Response Coordinator since 2007.  She is responsible for Marine Mammals in Maui Nui, primarily on Maui and Lana`i.

Eden J. Zang
Marine Mammal Network Assistant

Eden J. Zang works with all aspects of the Marine Mammal Response Network on a part-time basis.  She also serves as the Director of the Oceanwide Science Institute and is interested in whale vocalizations.

Kehau Kimokeo
Education/Outreach Assistant
 

Kehau Kimokeo works for the State of Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources, the Department of Aquatic Resources, and the Marine Wildlife Program.  She is an Education and Outreach Assistant for the Marine Mammal Response team.
