This website has been set up to help NOAA-Maui Monk Seal Responders find everything they need to serve effectively in this volunteer role! The website does not replace the official NOAA site, rather, it has been created to make your volunteer experience the easiest it can be.

About
The “About” Page contains photographs and brief descriptions about the roles of the three amazing women who are in charge of the Monk Seal and marine mammal programs here on Maui and the one “happily retired” volunteer who coordinates this volunteer website. There are links on this page so that you can easily contact each person on the NOAA-Maui Monk Seal Responder team.
Volunteer Projects
There are four volunteer projects explained on this page. The first project, Monk Seal Responders, is the page you will use the most.
Volunteers may use Sign Up to notify the Hotline Team of their availability to serve as a Monk Seal Responder. Most provide their time availability on Sign Up on a Weekly or Monthly basis.
